Built by an Inspector Who Has Been in Your Shoes

Pro-Sight was created by someone who understands the home inspection industry from the inside. After more than 25 years working in construction, inspections, and inspection business development, I experienced firsthand the challenges inspectors face when trying to build and grow their business.

Over the years I developed my own inspection reporting software, built websites for inspectors, and helped new inspectors launch their businesses. These tools were originally created for my own inspection company and later shared with a small group of inspectors I mentored.

In March 2026, Pro-Sight was officially relaunched to focus on providing inspection reporting software, professional websites, and online marketing services designed specifically for home inspectors. Our goal is simple: provide practical tools that help inspectors run their business more efficiently and attract more clients online.

25 Years of Home Inspection Industry Experience

As a youngster, I was the neighborhood handyman. I handled all kinds of projects for neighbors and my parents, including painting, drywall, carpentry, and concrete work. By my twenties, I owned a construction company. In my thirties, I added a store fixture manufacturing company, which worked alongside my construction company on many projects.

After selling my business, I decided to start a home inspection company. To be honest, I failed. I assumed that with all my business experience it would be easy, but I quickly learned that the inspection industry requires a completely different skill set.

Fortunately, I later joined a multi-inspector company where I spent several years performing inspections and handling marketing. During that time I learned the ins and outs of the industry and eventually decided to venture out on my own again. My second attempt was much more successful, and I built my inspection company into a three-inspector operation.

During those years I also began developing my own proprietary inspection reporting software and helping new inspectors get their businesses started.

The Evolution of Pro-Sight

Over time Pro-Sight grew into a platform designed to help home inspectors succeed. For several years the focus was on mentoring inspectors and offering what many considered a franchise alternative for those entering the industry.

Today Pro-Sight focuses on providing inspection reporting software, professional websites, and SEO.

After many years of using our inspection software privately and with a small group of inspectors, we are now making this digital tool widely available.

A Family-Driven Team

Today I work closely with my son (a proud geek), my sister, and Neil, a brilliant developer who helps us tackle the toughest technical challenges. Together we focus on building practical tools that help inspectors run their businesses more efficiently and grow their online presence.

While I no longer offer the extensive mentoring programs I once did, I am always happy to share insights with inspectors who want to improve their business.
